Milpitas man, 36, died in Page Mill Road crash David Guerrero, 36, of Milpitas has been identified by the Santa Clara County Coroner's office as the man who was killed in a two-car crash on Page Mill Road in Palo Alto Thursday afternoon. Related story
EPA teens arrested for $200,000 crime spree Two East Palo Alto teen boys have been arrested for an extensive spree of vandalism at construction sites around town between April and June, causing roughly $200,000 of damage. (Thursday, 2:52 PM)
Burpee trial set for October Todd David Burpee, who is charged with beating, kidnapping and sexually assaulting a 17-year-old Gunn High School student last Oct. 30, will go to trial on those charges Oct. 6. Burpee appeared in Santa Clara County Superior Court Wednesday to set a trial date. His lawyer's motion to exclude evidence from his car was denied, Santa Clara County Deputy District Attorney James Leonard said. Related stories:

SPORTS: Stanford grad Dobson races to an Olympic berth Ian Dobson figures himself a pretty good runner at 5,000 meters. Thus, when he went t the line in the finals of men's 5K at the U.S. Olympic Track and Field Trials on Monday night, Dobson expected good things. "I do this because I'm good at it and I like doing good at it," Dobson said.

Iron Man Marvel Comics' golden avenger blasts onto the silver screen with all of the high-octane action and special effects one would expect from a superhero film.
